An octagonal pen with a design that caries around the 8 sides building a homogeneous whole creation. This is a pen in celebration of gambling and casinos.

About 1,000 pens were produced with a unit price of about £18 UKP per pen.

White Nights

This large and expensive enamelled pen, designed by David Pledge for the Russian market, was produced and successfully sold in surprisingly large numbers for a pen retailing at about £1,600 UKP each. We estimate that as many as 2000 may have been sold so far. Engine turning is about £58 UKP per pen. We can recommend suitable enamellers for this sort of work.

The theme "White Nights" was from the midnight sky in summer in St Petersburg, when it doesn't get dark.
" I trawled the tourist web sites and found a wonderful image of the railings around the Summer Palace which inspired me. I added heraldic images from the city and created an enamelled pen in which you are seeing the white sky through the railings around the palace. "
