Engine Turning Along Tubes

A tube held in a pencil chuck on a straight line machine. The tube is rotated a small amount after each cut, using the worm and handwheel at the top of the chuck. Great care must be taken with the final cut as the guide will be running over the first cut!

A similar corkscrew without enamel, open, ready for the half-handle to be screwed back on for use. The cuts follow along the tube, trimmed at the ends with a circular cut.
